Incorporated 1955. At the time of incorporation on May 26, 1955, the city had a population of less than 200 people and was governed by a council-strong mayor form of government. On June 20, 1955, the city's first mayor and city council were sworn in, all of who were appointed and served until January 1959. The first elected councilmember was sworn on November 5, 1956. He then became the city's first elected mayor on January 16, 1959 and resigned one month later. The city changed to the council-manager form of government in March 1991. The name Miramar means "look to the sea," which was derived from a small suburb in Havana, Cuba.

Chemicals & balance clean the tiles, netting surface, vacuuming, and brushing walls & bottoms of pool, clean pump basket & skimmer basket, and rinse filter once a month or as needed. An additional charge for the stabilizer will be made two times per year.
